Valvoline 20w50 label issue???
They change labels all the time, but anything that has that starburst on it, or the API rating of newer than SJ will not have the zink. It can't legally because one of the changes to SK and newer was a lowering of zink due to catalytic convertor contamination and lack of need for severe friction modifiers. Zink is bad for convertors, and newer engines are designed to not need the additional protection. So if you can find SJ at swap meets it's good. But honestly to buy new oil - spend the money on the good stuff. It's still cheaper than a roller cam conversion over the service life of the engine unless you're daily driving in which case it should probably be roller anyway.
