67 factory chrome valve covers?

I am looking for a pic of the correct valve covers for a 67 383 Formula S. It seems like every pic you see is of the drivers side or the wrong ones. Also were they all chrome or did they come painted to?

I know for a fact that all 67 & 68 440s in the gtx had chrome valve covers & my 69 barracuda 383 had them to
 
Maybe the HP ones got the chrome ones.

Our 440 six pack had painted ones stock...
 
These are the correct 67/68 units.

My 69 never had the hole in the fender for the HH bracket so I decided to use these.

I have a set like those but painted. Forgot I even had them. Guess I need to find a set of chrome ones.

Those are similar but do to have the plug wire holders for # 7 and 8 wires.

AMD Re-Pops them and I think they have worked out all the issues the early versions had.

The baffles were welded in incorrectly and would hit the rockers and the bolt holes were punched off center.
 
I believe chrome valve covers on a big block were ONLY 67 440 B-body, 64-65 426 wedge/super commando B,C-body, CSS trucks and 67-69 A-body 383.
 
The 69 version only differs in the missing heater hose bracket on the passenger cover. They are the hardest to find!!

My 69 cuda 383 has the HH bracket screwed on the right inner fender.
 
Yes Chrome on the 383 cars, mine are all pitted.
But, what colour are your motors,
original #'s 68 a-body 383 which is turquoise.
 
67 Commando is torquois!

68/69 Super Commando is Hemi Orange.
 
I'll have to second BB-Dave. I'm not sure if the 69 440 M code cars had Chrome Covers? I know for fact all 383 a bodies built between 67-69 had chrome.
