thanks for ideas guys. I like clhyer's paint job on the duster. Think i might go with the tractor supply type of paint and use the clear coat too.not advisable, if their paint is an enamel, this will cause a bad reaction and wrinkling im wondering if i should remove all of the old paint {because if it is peeling, im thinking the adhesion is bad on the factory paint job. That doesnt seem like a good surface to paint over}. probably the best to remove as much as you can, just cover bare metal with a coat of some primer or sealer made to stick to metal, though i'm sure the tsc paint probably would stick good too being made for farm use. I wonder how hard it will be to get off. probably not too bad if it's peeling all over, start with some compressed air where it's coming up, wear goggles! Then a razor before going to a sander
