I am posting this for a friend, pictures will follow shortly.

For sale is a very original and rust free 64 Dart gt convertible that has some front end damage. The car has a rebuilt 273 4 barell, bucket seat interior (original upholstery in good condition) and a fairly new top. Most trim is present and in good condition.

The car has a British Columbia salvage registration due to the collision damage. It will need a fender, hood, bumper and a mechanical and frame inspection to register in British Columbia. The front of the front left frame rail has some damage at the bumper mount point that can be repaired.

The car is located in Kelowna British Columbia. Local pickup is great, delivery can be arranged to the Washington state border for a reasonable fee.

Asking $4500 obo, will consider trades on 67-72 Dart or 67-69 notchbackBarracuda.

I spoke with the owner, he wants the car sold, price is $3800 obo.

The car appears to have had only one repaint, and the 273 runs great. With a little work.it could be turned into a respectable and rare driver!

That is not little work. The frame appears to have shifted quite a bit from the looks of the distorted gaps on the left door. The rails on the older Detroit iron is not as easy to repair as today''s unibody structures. In addition to the fender, hood and bumper you will most likely need a radiator support and left apron repair.

On closer inspection it looks like the rad support could be straightened, and the inner fender only has a small bend at the front which could be straightened. Yes, the driver door has been tweaked a little, possibly from being forced open against the fender. You are correct, it is not a small project. It will require some major repairs and to be put on a frame straightener to check and correct any issues, but as a somewhat rare ragtop I personally think some one would be miles ahead repairing this solid original car than trying g to save a rusty one.

Has This car been sold yet?? I just happen to have a 64 Dart gt 273 2bbl that can furnish all the parts I would need to repair this one. Its a large task yes , But a 273 4 bbl convt. peaks my intrest. I would be intrested in the cross country title process. and shipping cost to damn near old mexico. Tucson az.

ok, what is the cost to get it to the boarder? AT what port?? nearest state in the U.S.?

Ok if I would have read the post, I would have known part of my queston !! your on the right side of the country for me. Now I would like to know about how much does it weigh in lbs please?? Are you SURE it a numbers matching motor? Was it a factory 4BBL.? IS the factory vin. plate still there?
