so I'm pretty new to the car building world and I'm trying to Figure out what header to run I've looked at multiple post and can't find what I'm looking for. My car is a big block back halfed duster running a 400 with pro comp heads what I'm looking for is 1 7/8-2in headers that will give me the best ground clearance I have no inner fender wells and rack and pinion steering at the front of the k member I'm going to be on the street a fair amount and lots of racing. Thanks for any input

I did my only concern with TTI is that I don't know about ground clearance my car sits low. sounds like they are a pain in the *** to install but that don't bother me much

TTI's. Yes, they suck to put in, but putting a 440 in a Dart/Duster sucks any way you look at it!!

Tubular Automotive in Mass. used to make a header for this car. It's called their ES-15. You may want to give them a try. They can also make a custom set for your car given the ground clearance. Their number is 617-878-9875

I have a brand new set of Pro Parts headers that are 2"into 2 1/8th tubing.Made for Bob Mazzolini by TTI. Very nice quality and they fit a big block well. I'm asking $800 plus shipping. They are semi fenderwell, and have good clearance.

I have tti,s fitted on my 73 440 wouldn't say they sit that low under the car. I'd get you a pic but car is currently in Singapore sitting in a container waiting for ship to arrive. Should be here in out 3 weeks if your still looking then.

I`ve got a set of used tti on my 68 barracuda, they are very well made and don`t hang low at all ! :coffee2:

I would recommend going with big block headers...

I've never had TTIs, but I have used ProParts before. They work great. They also will allow you to run a manual transmission, if you choose.

I HAVE A SET OF Schumacher TRI Y'S AND THEY HAVE PLENTY OF GROUND CLEARANCED.
