I built the car for show, with a little go. Curiosity finally got to me(that and people always asking what does it run), so now I have an answer. Current set up is 3.55 gears, 28x13.5 M/T D.O.T. slicks, 3200 converter in a 727 with full manual reverse valve body and other upgrades, plus the 605HP Stroked 340. First pass was 11.42 @ 128.9, second was 11.31 @ 122.5.
Here's the time slips, I was right lane on both. With a few changes I see tens happening no prob.

And a YouTube video of the first pass.

Nice Demon.... I use to have a pretty nice Demon but it got totaled while sitting in the staging lane at one of my local tracks. It ran a best of 6.99 @ 97 with a stock stroke 360 with Hughes Stage 2 ported 915 heads full interior with bench seat.

She looked like a beauty. 3.55s we killing my 1/8 mile. But it was fun.

The first time slip doesnt make sense? 129mph w/97 in the 1/8. The second time slip makes more sense. 122mph w/98 in the 1/8. Unless you forgot the nitrous button on the second pass? Lol

It would if you saw my driving..lol. Normally on the street I never look at tach, shift by feel and sound. With helmet on with the first pass I was messed up, no looking at tach, barely hear what engines telling me, no idea what I shifted at. Second pass both shifts were at 6800 each, I'm guessing wherever I shifted the 2/3 on the first pass made the difference. AND bottles are for babies ;-)

You did awesome job with your "show" car.

Drop the tach, keep the helmet on! Your dropping out of your powerband on the shift. Way out according to your mph. Great outing!

Awesome.
Too bad the footage was from too far away to get more detail.......

True, but I was surprised that there was any footage at all. The Bee beside me turned out to be a friend of a friend and his wife was taking the video. She needs a better camera, lol.

If I had a car that ran 11 thirties I'd chain the hood shut and leave it alone!! LOL

outstanding.....

The way that things takes off and pulls......I would normally agree. But now that you have a GREAT baseline, trying different combinations is a cake walk.
easy / peasy to return to the proven set-up.

Denny,,I have a feeling I will want to go faster ;)

Did I mention I hadn't rejetted after trip to Columbus, OH. We are 2000' higher, was a bit rich. Not sure how much that would effect the runs?

By the looks of your 60 foot time you need to look at your suspension. With the et you are running your 60 foot should be quicker. Get that until control and 10's should not be a problem. Really impressive pass for a street car!

How the heck does a car get totaled in the staging lanes? Is the guy that totaled it still on this earth? I would be in jail!

When a dumber than dirt phuckstick test his transbrake in the lanes... or any number of other stupid crap.

Stupid as it sounds, that's why my race cars always have insurance. They are covered everywhere except while running the track. So if said P-stick kills my car, I have it covered.

3.55s with 28" tire that measures closer to 29" is the issue. A 4.10 or 4.30, a 4000 stall and maybe throw in a transbrake and the 60' is cured. :)
