Happy Birthday CudaChick1968 !!!

I'm late too #-o

Hope you enjoyed your Birthday weekend Leanna

THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!!! :-D I'm even late to my own party C! (Ehhh, the cool kids always show up after everybody else.)

Anyway, it wasn't bad for a landmark event. My friend Trisha -- the one who helped me put the new roof on the shop after the 2011 tornado -- dropped off a lime green basket with balloons and an assortment of very well-received chocolate on Saturday morning. The mailman brought a card from Billy's aunt with $20 in it so that covered the Mike's Lemonade. Then Billy suggested an impromptu trip to his local friend Tommy's newly relocated gun store, Straight Shooters. I'm not going to mention exactly what it is he kicked down for, but let's just say that it's just my size and that my individual American rights-supporting friends would appreciate it. [In related news, I'm totally comfortable with my new shoulder bruise even on 'the sore day' a couple days later. :D:D]

Happy Birthday from Alabama, hope you are doing well and having a very great day. Haven't seen you on here much lately, Joe

Thank you Joe! I've been kinda popping in a little bit here and there now that life is starting to slowly return to what "normal" was a couple years ago. I've been wanting to jump in with a little announcement / PSC update thread but have mainly just been concentrating on trying to get the work caught up.

Straight up, the last 2 1/2 years sucked *** but that life chapter with Billy's mom has thankfully about come to a close with the exception of some probate-related paperwork and a few details.

I've had my moments as some of you know, so I've tried mainly to keep it to myself because nobody wants to read that crap. I do want you all to understand she was an absolutely WONDERFUL woman and we always enjoyed a close relationship ... but Alzheimer's turned all of us into strangers and it was very hard watching her go out the way she did. I loved her too and have had my own issues coping with her passing. Please don't think I hated having her here because I didn't -- what I hated was the situation, the near constant interruptions, and the fact it impacted my shop and work habits so much.

I haven't been on here like I was before she moved in -- or on any forums for that matter. Not sure if anyone noticed but I haven't really even been inviting any new work per se nor introducing the shop regularly for about a year and a half. Coupled with a new so-called SmartPhone (it's a POS lol), forums are tedious and I can't type nearly as fast on it as I can this computer keyboard so it's not as much fun anymore.

The main thing though is that this spring there were 32 jobs in line and now I'm down to ten. Some of those are / were for FABO members who have been extremely patient and so understanding that it almost feels like it's being taken advantage of -- some of them have been here for far too long. I can assure you it is not; I'm just plugging away and wrapping up as much of what's left as I can while the "busy season" is simultaneously already starting albeit quite a bit earlier than prior years.

Late at night I've been devoting a LOT of time to much-needed website revisions. In celebrating the site's 8th anniversary on September 10, I see that I was really good at adding stuff to it but I was truly awful at deleting anything. As a result, my home page goes on for like three weeks; it's not very mobile-friendly and there's a lot of reorganization needed. I'll post up again when I'm done and it's published with its fresh new look for screen or phone, two years-plus of the latest work samples and more 5-star feedback.

Lunch is over and daylight's burnin'. :D Thanks again for the awesome birthday wishes and for thinking of me!! I really love you all and am glad to finally be back HOME here where I belong. Ya'll ROCK!!!
