Blew up my 440 with automatic trans and.....

? Did I not ask this correctly? In order to get the engine out of car I need to turn the engine so I can unbolt the flex plate from the torque converter, then the trans from the engine. It was an easy question and I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them.
I should have posted it over at Moparts for additional stupid replies.
Actually you dont. I've pulled a locked up big block 400 a few years back. Lift the car and support it on jack stands as high as it can go that will still allow a hoist to lift it out, lift the engine and trans out through the engine bay, then once it's out, simply un bolt the bellhousing from the block and pull the whole trans back and out of the toque converter, then you'll be able to get all the bolts out for the torque converter.

If that engine wont turn, it's stuck, meaning its gotta come out regardless.
