67 Dart rear moved back 3/4" I run a 29" tire on the street, 2700 at 70 mph. Drive to track and swap on a 27" drag radial at the track. Works great.
Now the equivalent gearing for 2700@70 and with a typical 275/50-15 tire @ 25.8 inches would be 2.97.
And by running a 3.23, that would be about 9% more gear for the teener. So.........3.23 wins again!
It would cruise around 2900@70 with a loc-up.
