Street Gear Poll

My 1970 Duster 340 (new off the showroom floor) came with 3.23 open 8.75 diff.
It had E70-14's, prolly 25-26 inch diameter. It would burn or bog off the line, depending on how it was launched. It would do 138 MPH, according to the rallye pak gauge cluster.
Today, I have no interest in going 100+ in a 48 year old Dart GT w/383 TF 3.55 SG diff.
I voted 3.55 and it seems to be the most popular choice, according to the poll.

My calculator comes up with 115 mph. @ 5000 rpm. You should get your speedo checked. There's a reason why Ma Mopar used the 3.23 ratio in most of the performance cars they built. Because it's a great all around gear. Mopar engines are designed to produce a lot of torque and really don't need a lot of rpm to perform well or a big gear ratio.
