He's in Prostreet Power Adder yep, been leading the pack for the first 2 days. I was watching/snoozing through the live feed this morning and missed his pass, but I'd guess it would be close to the same. Its a 72 Dart with twin Turbo'd big block that runs 7.70s. His car is awesome to watch make a pass. He's from Lethbridge Alberta, about 4 hours south from me. I'd love to do Drag Week someday, would be a hoot.
 
That Dart is a beast! My dad took Street Race N/A small block last year with his 71 Demon, but his class came out swinging this year. Should be in fourth after today (of 34).
 
I'll answer my own question. It is, no other Demons running. I've watched your dad race everyday so far on YouTube. Looks good. I would love to have mine that quick someday.
What's the rear suspension for that class?

Stock Suspension design. They did allow him to move the springs inboard to the fender wells. He is running a caltracs mono leaf setup. stock slant six torsion bars up front. There is more in the car. He still hasn't matched the detuned pass we made last wednesday with bad air (9.71 @ 139). Had some fuel pump issues, hopefully he can get it dialed in and at least finish top 3.
 
unfortunatly there wil be no option to do something like the Drag Week here in Germany.
If you drive from north to south Germany, its like you guys driving to the grocerystore around the Corner:D

I would love to do something like that here!

At least you have the autobahn and can do some high speed runs without having the police give you a very expensive fast driving award! :)

this is getting more and more less. soon is no chance to test ride a car close to cities.

and yes, I'ld love to do that week here too. no trailer, no service car. just race'n'travel.

I'm glued to youtube. The classes are cryptic but all the ET's are simply awesome. 6 second passes... wow. average Et's of ( more or less ) street cars between 10 to 11s ....
 
I am following drag week closely. The driver of the dodge dart is Matthew Blasco in Pro Street Power Adder. As of day three he is still leading.

That looks like his Dart. But all of his passes I've seen on dragweek have been during daylight hours, possibly from test n tune on Sunday?

Edit: I could see the full YouTube title earlier, "practice run", definitely had to have been Sunday.
 
Go to the Motor Trend channel on YouTube and click on their feed. For drag week. It's working, not sure why it would be different but it is.
 
In case anyone hasn't heard, Hot Rod is having Drag Weekend next month, October 29-31st, starting at Tuscon, then to Phoenix, then finish at Fontana, same rules, there's 12 classes, $250 entry, not sold out yet as of last night.
The not ending at the start off track will be a issue for some, but at least they're doing something on the west coast. I registered in Super Street Big Block Naturally Aspirated class with my '70 'Cuda. Just thought I'd see if any of you guys want to run it, or come watch.

My Turbo Mopar friends..JT in the Red Daytona Shelby Z
and James in the Black Omni GLH-Turbo have run in the 10's
all week. I think Patrick in the Silver Shadow has ben in the 12's

I think the trans came out of the Dart today. They had a bad day and dropped to last place. Ran a 16.98 @ 33mph. Average ET of 10ish now. Bummer.
