Fired up the black '64 440 (426) rented a U haul tow bar and drove all the way from San Diego to "wherever" S of Stockton and towed the poor thing back to NAS Miramar.
No 6 rod cap? rod let loose, one or two next to that one, and broke the cam. I Pulled the distributor, the intake, the valve covers, and threw the rest into the garbage can.
