Okay,

So Ol'lady is away taking care of her Dad which means I'm Batching it for the weekend.......Bwaaahahaaa.

This also means I got to do the shopping alone which is highly frowned upon around these parts and can be extremely dangerous as history has shown.

So I'm in the Kingdom of Wally with the list:

Mothers Day Cards and a nice Plant..*
Razors and Toothpaste..*
and as I'm passing the toy section I hear my name being called from down the aisle "Paul, down here"
I look but nobody's there so I go down the aisle to investigate and...

Why Why Why did I do it?

I start looking at these diecasts by the Hot Wheels and Hell I don't even collect these things at all but they had some pretty cool Mopars in amongst the Brand Xers.

Sooooooo,
Of course I bought a few and Twenty Five Bucks in diecasts later I'm at home wondering now where in the Hell am I gonna display these things and What in the Hell did I buy them for?

Uggggggghh,
I will admit they are pretty cool though and already together which is a big plus cause God Knows I didn't need another project.

I especially like the Old 57' Dodge Cab Over with the see thru enclosed carrier housing a 69'Hemi Road Runner and guess these were done for the Elephant's Anniversary. The other's are a 66' Hemi Charger and a 73' Rallye Challenger.

So Ya'all be careful next time your in Wallyworld and you start hearing voices from the toy section.

Hemi

I bought that same charger and my wife keeps buying me all the mopars she comes across .
have the same problem where to put them my study is geting full of them but cant stop .
must be the kid in all of us or we have some sort of Mopar problem.

those voices are particularly strong when I am in wallyworld at 3 a.m.

I have the same challenger among many ...many others. The challenger is a detailed little guy and its nice to see a sad mouth challenger for a change instead of just another plum crazy purple 70/1 E body that was once cool but now just boring.

-I have to agree Rainy, I myself would LOVE to see some OTHER "Challenger" models like the '71 to '74-ish as 1/25th scale models.... I think i currently have 2 of the '70, ones is 1/24th and the other is 1/25th and both have different hoods, but thats it! I'd love to see the '71 done in a 1/25th scale plastic model, be something just a little different, and that "frowning" Challenger was done in '72 by Lindberg, BUT that was many years ago! I seen one but it was gone by the time I had the $$$$$$ for it. GO FIGURE!

I like that the M2 haulers have the same brand trucks at the cars they are hauling.

Those AutoWorld models are SUPER high quality.

They just came out with a '73 Roadrunner of all things!

I have been getting selective with these little guys because they are all cute but 30-some dollars later...........

I left behind a sublime 71 charger but I couldn't resist this 68 cuda ........who can resist a barracuda with the Plymouth heart on it :love7:

Those are cool - every time I see one of those "The King" superbird diecasts from the Cars movie I buy it, then think "I'm a grown man, why do I have these things?" lol

Ooooooooh,
I like that one Rani, fortunately or unfortunately depending how you look at it I shopped at a different Wallyshouse last weekend and of course made a beeline for the toy aisle but they didn't have anything different and actually way less then the one I scored the other's at. I left feeling both relieved and disappointed at the same time.

I'd a grabbed that 68' fo sure.

I love the M2s. I collect the detroit muscle, and auto haulers. Recently picked up some new mopars. These are really hard to resist. The diecast car aisle at walmart calls me too. I check it out every time i am there LOL. The nice thing about the M2s is the plastic cases stack nicely with the bases fitting into the tops of the other cases.

Ya mean I wasn't supposed to take it out of the case and throw the case away?

Catch myself rolling them around and going Vrooooooom Vrooooooom !!!

Watch out for the Guys in the White Jackets.

Haha, i cant resist that either. I keep a small screwdriver handy for those out of case excursions LOL

went to wally world last night and found a color variance to the cuda I really like.

Of course had to get one, they had a bunch of them out in both colors.
