10 inch AFB Air Cleaner Base Plate

To clarify, do you need the base from an AFB with a 4 11/16" flange? Better check your carb number to verify, and check the throat size! The book lists a 4119, 4120, 4121 and 4122 for 1966, and 4294 and 4295 for 1967! Not sure if the 67's had the 4 11/16" throat size but I know the 66's did!

Geof...indeed '67 AFB had the smaller air horn size. As there was no 273-4bbl engine in '68, I think that changed in '68 when they went to the AVS-style carb for the then-new 340.

FJRdoc....you could just buy a small aftermarket air cleaner assembly and just use the base under the top housing. The filter is shallow enough to allow the base to disappear up into the housing....no one will see it. Also, if you do have the small air horn carb, you can buy a plastic adapter to fit the larger base to the smaller carb.
