OVERTIME, what is that?

Guess they are selling something, hard to tell at our plant, we have less than 350 employees total

won't be long and it will be good bye Indianapolis steering gear plant

Nice car, I would like to have another nice 67 Barracuda coupe, but have had 2 coupes and one convertible, maybe if I ever get another barracuda I might need a fastback

I know where a really nice 67 coupe is but he wanted stupid money for it a few years ago.
Well WildCat,we have 65,000 orders in the bank(as of 2 weeks ago)but might get laid-off for 1-2 weeks in Feb. due to a fire at our engine plant in Mexico in Nov./10 (short engines).Yes we,re pumping them out now and I get asked for overtime cause I work in shipping/repairs.

..........Thats great u changed ur mind....we will pay lots more than Scott........LOL..........great score Scott..............keep it original...kim.........

Thanks for compliments, but this never would,ve taken place if it weren,t for Martin finding the car and bringing it up to Ontario. He deserves the credit for finding such a desirable car in this condition.Kudos go out to Martin.:thumleft::headbang::salute::hello1:

not to hijack here, but the the car is suppose to be a 1 family owned car, 2 brothers. I purchased from the son of one of them. The car was parked (garaged) in the early nineties till about 5years ago, when it was moved to the sons place of business and stored outside (but a fenced compound, hidden from view). The son, whom is not a car guy, actually did the brakes, got it going and took it to a few local type car meets, but not his type of car! I found the car for sale and kept tabs on it. There were a title issue and reg. fines due etc. that had to be worked out. I actually bought the car about sept/oct 09 and it sat there till feb. last year when the issues were settled and I had it shipped up. I was looking for a super clean (that's my thing) body, drivetrain didn't matter. I will say, although I never pulled the carpet back, I was more than confident the pans were good.Aas you can see in Scott's few photos, this condition car is far and few between. We pulled the rear seat and the front carpet back and its spotless! Scott will have alot of fun with this one. I'm out now!
:happy1:

I forgot to mention, the son did remember the car from early on.

Good job Martin. It's fun to share in Scott's excitement.

beautiful car scott! I love it, much nicer than my 68 fastback rust bucket! LOL
Thanks James, but you remember me saying awhile back that I would love to have one..rusted or not.Atleast you have one and a 70 Dart.Your miles ahead of when I was your age.Look how long it,s taken me to find the right one(47 years).LOL

Way to go Scott, I was away and did not see this until Mike told me about it. You're definitly living the dream buddy. Good for you!

Good point Scott! I shouldn't complain. :):):) Now the next car on my list is a '69 Dart. I REALLY want a '69. :)

Thanks for all the compliments guys,I,ll be picking the car up next week. It,s been snowing everyday for the last 5 days, also has been up in the -teens.Today it is zero degrees, going back down. They sure plaster the roads/hyw,s here with salt,so hopefully it will dry up some to get this car home.Ofcourse all the enclosed trailers(mine and friends)are in storage with cars in them,so will have to rent an open trailer to transport.I will be wrapping her like a bug in a rug,so that no salt touches her..Period.I,ll post pics when I get her home safely.;-)

Congrats Scott, that car looks amazing. The force of the barracudas seems to be strong here in Ontario LOL. I absolutely love the red on red and it's hard to believe you can still find unmolested gems like this. Looks like another fish found a great home. Enjoy.

Dam Scott you win the lottery or what?? One car rebuilt, new enclosed trailer and now one of my all time favourite cars, 68 Barracuda :notworth::notworth: Looks like a sweet car, wish I knew about that one when I was looking for a 68 a little over a year ago, I'm jealous :crybaby:
Car looks great and good luck with what ever you do with it

Well yesterday I sold the 68 Barracuda:banghead:I,ve been so busy and have no time, nor the room...so off it goes.I know I will regret this down the road.I sold it to the man that had the 73 Dart with 5.7 Turbo Hemi(he was running in the 8,s in the 1/4). He,s a Mopar mechanic at the local Mopar dealer and will treat the car right. Now to fill in the void..Hellcat maybe?New Mustang?:D
