Switched from Scumacher try-Ys to Pro Parts step headers.

I know its well known that the little Scumacher headers cost power, but I have not seen too many actual tests so I'm posting my results to give some insight. My car is a 70 Gold Duster street strip car. It weighs exactly 3500# with me in it and a full fuel cell. The engine is an 11.5 to 1, stock stroke, .030" over 440 with cnc ported Stealth heads, an out of the box Eddy Torker II, a Holley 850 double pumper and MSD distributor, 6AL box and Blaster coil. The cam in a COMP Xtreme Energy 292 street solid roller with .582/.588 lift and 254/260 duration @ .050 installed straight up. Drivetrain is an A-518 overdrive and a Strange nine inch with 4.57 gears. Best run with the Schumachers was 11.48 @ 116 mph with a 1.63 60 ft. I took it to the track this past weekend with the New Pro Part headers and it ran 11.125 @ 121.4 with a 1.549 60 ft. I did make one other change worth noting. I also changed out the carb main body for a Proform main body. Looks like it gained about 50 hp, and from driving it, it feels like it did not loose any throttle response or low end torque. Also it has the factory power steering. I had to custom fab a 90 degree inlet fitting on the steering box to clear the header tube on cylinder #3.
