As promised,,,,,, Hell, its painted and looks ,well Ok to me. Did it my self with no idea what I was up against. Its now all one colour, for now..he heh..Id say out of 10 its around 4.5 to 5.5 but I did it,, and saved a lot. Planning on clearing it in the spring as soon as I get all I need done.Have matching rims for the rear just need to figure what I can put on for size. Frt needs to go up some for clearance,,(rubbing issue). Been off FABO for awhile not because I wanted to just life gets in the way. Pics look better then what it really is but im proud of myself to take on such a chore. Hope you like the pics,,,,,Edd AKA Nite Moves

Looks good Ed feels good to do it yourself good luck with your project.

Looks good Edd...

You learned alot doing it, and will be better next time...

Did it yourself..enough said...swell out that chest and smile...It looks great!!!!!

Looks better than any of my junk.

Thanks everyone.......it was a feat in its self. Small garage with little to no room. Did the front end first then moved her out and turned her around to do the rear. Damdedist thing not one run..some sanding mistakes and some ripples but now I can see them. Lighting is needed for sure. I was limited on that as well. Like to do some stripping on it just not sure yet, any ideas? Black with silver accents like colour of rims. Thanks again all!

Edd, it looks good and just knowing that you did it yourself should you should be a proud man! I also took on that same job, its not perfect by any means but when people ask me who painted it and I tell them I did it and I think people appreciate that even more.

Plus the money you saved doing it yourself just lets you buy more parts for it!

Paint is a Burnt orange with a bit extra. Code is done buy a friend who does the mix of paint for a living and is a book of knowledge. Helped me out a ton. Peace of advice, well here in Canada...stay away from the Dupicoloiur ready soot paint.........tried it and a big waste of time and money

You never know what you can do until you just do it. I agree, the blackout treatment looks good.

Thanks again all, Its Burnt orange metallic and a touch Darker then the code to make it. John is a wiz at this. Give him any colour I bet you he can match it to a tee. Just figured out what I can put on the rear for rubber. Ordering them tomorrow. Will post up some pics with the progress. I REALLY appreciate all the great words. Honestly I was nervous doing this myself.

Well got some more done,, rear rubber is on and mirrors painted and some other stuff. Startin to get were I want..........Thanks again for the kind words. 215/50 17inch frt and rear are 245/50 17's could go a bit wider but not without a spacer??????????frt has got to go up some more.
