Hello I'm trying to get some information about my motor it's a 89 360 l roller I put a comp thumpers cam with 282 513 lift took stock heads off not sure what heads came on this block but I bought some j heads any way my question is can I change to flat tap only reason why I want to do this is roller cam and lifters cost me a lot and I want a bigger cam in this motor thanks in advance
 
roller can reuse the lifters. flat tappet cant. rollers are huge money compared to flat tappet cams, cant figure that one out yet....?
 
Yeah I spent 1200 just cam and lifters I can run it another yr I just want a bigger cam in this motor need to pick my time up at the track
