I wasn't including drive shaft since I was just looking for a "to get running" kind of deal, not moving.

I know I need disc brakes, 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 or ford 8.8, drive shaft, etc before I even attempt to drive it haha

I would go right to 8 3/4, that way you're prepared for upgrades in the future.

Ferd belongs under a Ferd, lol, but that's just me. I know it's a viable option, personally I couldn't do it.

I have no problem with Fords, I was really into Mazdas for a while, and they're pretty synonymous. But regardless, if it works it works. I'd rather have a working rear end than a rear end that blows out on a turn. lol
