Is edlebrock calling an "AFB" and "AVS". Or does the thunder series
avs have a spring type adjustable door. I thought it was the same as a carter afb.

The thunder series is just like the old Carter AVS with the adjustable spring on the secondaries.

Slantsix64 I think the smaller one will do you fine. A stock teen doesn't require much carb. If you go too big the vacuum signal to the boosters won't be strong enough to properly atomize the fuel killing the fuel economy
