Just how quick were the 273 Commando's in the Quarter-Mile.

Back-in-the-Day

Running in the {12.50 to 12.99 Wt/Hp} Stock Class

The 1957 Chevrolet ~ 283/283 HP 'Solid Cammed' Fuel-Injection Engines were tough Bastard's to hold off.

We could get them 'Out-of-the-Hole', and run away from them over the first-half
of the Track.

But once they got up enough RPM's, they came on like a Rocket over the last 1/3
of the Track.

Those 'Fuel Injection' units were like a Nitrous Boost at Top-End.
