Just how quick were the 273 Commando's in the Quarter-Mile.

For 1970 NHRA Class > L/Stock

We upped the Gears to 5.13.

But the Valve's started to float 'wildy' getting into Top-End.

We switched to {non-legal} Racer Brown Valve Springs {Single-Coil w/Damper}.

My Mother was down into the 13.70's @ 102 MPH.

Again, she had no trouble at all in Class.

But in Stock Eliminator 'Money Class', the 'Top' L/Stock cars were running 13.20's @ 105 MPH.

The hot cars, were the 1969 Camaro 'convertibles' with the 350/255 HP engine.
