if my math is right, should be able to run somewhere between a 245 and 275 wide tire, depending on backspace and offset and rim size. Again, I'll let you know on mine, course im still trying to decide which rims I want. So once I narrow that down, I can get a better estimate

I do know there's a couple people using the GTS kit for racing, One is Mark Depriest and the other's name is evading my mind at the moment. There's also a gentleman using a GTS built K frame dirt car.
 
Oh there is one thing I keep forgetting to mention, the GTS does come with a new steering column support bearing as well.
 
wracks71 (I think that's his name) is running all RMS stuff in his autox (or road course) car. Don't know of anyone running an HDK professionally. I'm definitely interested in seeing how you like this suspension, maybe I'll have to get one some day!

Yeah, I'll type up a good write up on the install, my thoughts and such this week/weekend and get it posted with more/new photos. Really, in summary, I couldn't be happier with it at this point, granted my drivetrain isn't completed let alone installed yet so I dont have personal hands on driving time with one yet.
 
I love my RMS.

I would advise anyone buying one to try it without the sway bar. You can always add it later. I found that I didn't need it. Just switching to the RMS setup so far exceeded all of the performance aspects of the stock suspension my tires and rims would have to be changed before the sway bar would ever come into effect.

Thats good to hear. I also opted to go without one on my GTS, so we'll see how it works out.
 
For those wondering, I spoke with Carl this morning, he said the website is almost finished, should be released soon. Didn't give a timeline though, when it's out, I'll update.

Yes, everything in the pictures is included in my kit. I opted for no brakes since I have a set of mustang 2 brakes in the shop from my dad's project. A kit like mine is 3050 plus shipping. Course bare, non powdercoated may be even cheaper than that.

can we change the coils for qa1s? That's what I run in the rear so I would want to keep it the same. What do the brakes in the basic kit look like? I am torn between the two. How much drop are the spindles? I saw it mentioned only allowing for 1 in lower or higher with the vikings.

My RMS was less than 5 with manual steer, 12.5 rotor, 4 piston calipers. The shocks are the same, must be a common item, Vikings. I see a lot of RMS in this design. Kinda wish I knew about this guy 6 months ago. lol.

This looks like a great setup. Would have been great to have another company to choose from when I did my search. I'm running a big block in my 65 Valiant, so that put Magnumforce out, they required having to use a motor plate, plus they had the widest stance, which killed my wheel options. HemiDenny I believe is by far the strongest setup out there, but I wasn't comfortable in the installation, giving it requires mods to the frame rails. RMS was not much cheaper than either, I liked the idea of being able to talk to Bill and tell him what I was doing, motor, clearance, etc, and he set me up perfect. The mounts for the engine were dead on and it was a complete install in less than a few hours. None of the companies allowed for the use of stock brakes, giving the front steer required the Mustang II spindles. Again I was also limited to the fact my build was a 65, if it was a 67 newer, it would have been a little cheaper.
 
The model I got has 2 inch dropped spindles, I think the reason he uses vikings is because they're double adjustable, for the same price qa1 single plane Jane coil overs are, I also found out that viking is a split off of qa1, father/son or brothers I guess. I know he will sell by piece, my advice is to call him, and from my understanding, he doesn't want you to adjust more than 1 inch up or down because it changes the center of shock travel, so if you want dropped, just order a 2" dropped spindle. And it's a fabulous product, I highly doubt with his design, anything is stronger, there's a lot of differences if you look close.

Sounds good. I know that with HDK you can use the mustang II drop spindles or the Wildwood drop spindles. Hope its the same. But will still be awhile for me.

Best bet would be to contact Carl directly, I honestly don't know.

I'm not aware of any mods to the frame rails with the HDK unless you are referring to the three small holes that you drill on each side for the shock support brace. Baby stuff.

I could have sworn I seen that the front frame rail was sectioned for the the k-frame. If not, then I stand corrected. I looked at so many different things when I was researching the front end, I could have easily confused it with something different I saw. Did n't mean to offend HemiDenny. I really enjoy looking at his work. I only wish I could afford his front and rear kits, they look great when finished.
