The problem is that as the front tire gets wider it catches the bottom front corner of the fender when you turn. My 275/35/18's are only 25.6" tall, but were catching the lower front corner as the wheels turned out. When the wheels are straight ahead there's plenty of room.

I built new strut bars for the lower fender front corners. they are 1/2" aluminum rod with tie rod ends that thread into each end. I adjusted both corners out 1/2" farther then factory and presto i have tons of room.
