PUZZLER!!! My new motors a dog! what did I miss?

Vacuum advance will effect driveabilty . It doesn't really come into play here.
Hooked up or not it doesn't make much of a difference . I have to get the power side figured out first.
I'll yank the front off this weekend and redegree the cam.
