I Had clear vinyl put on the lower Quarters from the body line down. The rubber rubs right off..Its a different story under the car I just let it hang there. Once in awhile I reach under and grab some just to smell the rubber.
The hauler already has a permanent Methanol and race fuel smell. So if you go in the trailer grab some rubber put it to your nose sit down and close your eyes
. You can actually take yourself to the tree. The only thing missing is the shake and the G-force. At age 60 you have to do what ever you can to go back to the days of youth.
Also there is nothing like washing your hands at the pipes of a nitro car idling at the tree. The smell makes the Hot dogs , burgers and beer go down "Faster". You need the Big HP. Just keep yourself calm and under control. Don't listen to the cam lope it will talk you into bad decisions. Turn the radio up. LOL
