I live on a dead end street. Next door is a ex employee/freind who I sold a 340 Duster. and aside of him is a BB stroker Ford. No one cares here except a guy on the other street who thinks he's the mayor.
Can you believe he came to my house on a Harley with straight pipes and told me to keep my noise maker quiet when going past his house.
Then a local cop came here to tell me to get better mufflers on my car.
A week later I saw the same Cop with a Orange county chopper with straight pipes at the local Dunkin doughnut. He was riding with my neighbor. I almost got arrested that day because I called in a noise complaint on him to his barracks. I wish I would have a video on that. I had a legit complaint. I told them he popped my ear drum when he reved it before shutting it off. One of them look I'm here revs. They did not know what to say. I held them there for a hour expressing my opinion on there double standard.
I don't get it. Why are Harleys exempt of the muffler laws. Is it because most police choose to ride them for an ego trip? It goes with there tough guy image. Look at me I am still cool out of uniform that is why I don't wear a helmet so you can see who I am.
