The stupidness continues....

The stupid American voters GOT what they elected.

Every time I fart it adds to global warming! They need to ground Air Force 1 just think what it does for Global warming!

probably have to raise taxes to pay for a study on this!!

...and since pumpkins have existed, they've been rotting away just like their domesticated jack o'lantern counterparts - just in fields instead of landfills. There are written records of the existence of Cucurbita dating back to 1542 in Europe, and I wouldn't be in the least surprised if the various species can be traced tens of thousands of years before that.

So what have we been doing since 1542 about all this pollution that will kill us worse than the Black Plague? Making an excess of pumpkin pies? I don't think so.

Honestly, if I hear one more thing about under-sampled, poorly executed, exists-only-because-someone-grant-funded-it-and-a-bunch-of-people-with-more-degrees-than-sense-got-paid-for-it research, I'm going to go bananas (wouldn't be surprised if that's bad for the environment too). The phrase "a new study has shown" - sans any link to said study research - should be coined as the #1 bull$hit phrase of 21st century public service announcements.

I'm not one for being disrespectful to others, but someone ought take a photo of an overweight person eating McDonalds in an emissions-cheating, coal-rolling diesel Volkswagen packed to the driprails in rotting pumpkins.

That is the funniest thing I have read in a while. Thanks. lol

No problem, RRR.

Wish I could pull 'em off more often. With news articles like these though, the humor writes itself.

Unfortunately, this joke just rekindled a dormant desire to buy a Cummins-powered D350 again. Back to Craigslist to spend money I don't have...

What's so sad is, America is going to elect a leader that will continue this type thing. We're doomed.

Hillary may as well be measuring the White House for curtains.

I agree. The stupidity in the Republiplub party since GW was elected is beyond stupendous. There are plenty of fence sitters who will not vote for the current crop. The republicans might as well have a convicted murderer on death row for candidates. That is what we HAVE to vote for to prevent this. But many will not.

Put anyone you want in the hot seat. There are still hundreds of other idiots lower down the totem pole to screw things up.

What's more, in this day and age, all it takes is one popular social media topic to make the great masses of ignorant, stupid hoi-polloi believe (or not believe) one thing or another. Prior to that, it was bad reporting in newspapers. Unfortunately, journalists are often no different than the hoi-polloi with a college education, so crap like this gets published instead of kicked out of the newsroom. (It should have stopped at the research stage, but that's asking too much. Have you've ever seen how some researchers think?).

Plus, if anything involves too many people, it doesn't work. Simple as that. Just like an old pushrod V8's simplicity vs. trying to diagnose the 12 vehicle controllers that shut down a modern car's PCM. At what point is mechanical efficiency negated by operational complexity?

F***ing ridiculous.

Don't our own government know that modern landfills have Methane
extraction systems taking the gas that then becomes fuel for adapted turbine engines that
turn huge generators making power to be put back on Grid?

Used to work on a golf course built on closed landfill with Waste Management
in charge of Methane extraction systems producing power.

No that is good use of unbuildable property, and surrounding developments.
And also having positive environmental impact.

I feed my dog 2 or 3 cans of pumpkin every week. He loves it!
So does that mean that he's now part of the global warming problem?

I fart in jars to reduce the environmental impact....

It means his farts don't pass your state's sniffer test.

its a proven fact, that BURNING farts is the environmental safe method. also keeps those unsightly butt hairs under control!???
please don't get the gov't back on the subject of methane gas and cattle farts!
