1965 Dodge Dart 270 2 dr sedan

I think that if I don't plug that hole the engine can't get any oil pressure. When using an ordinary timing chain there is a plate holding the camshaft in place. As you can see there is no hole for timing chain lubrication. On later small blocks there is a hole in the right lower bolt holding the plate.

I plan to make a gasket that can block off the oil channels so the engine can build that oil pressure.

Besides that gasket I need to check how far out the camshaft excenter for the fuel pump goes. I need to get that clearence as it has from beginning. That would be a bummer....:banghead:
