AlV 69 Dodge GTS project

I used to renovate and sell mopeds when I was in my late teens. We didn't always replace all the bearings in the engine/gear box. What we eventually learned to tell people who thought the Sachs engine had a rattle to it was: I think you should buy a NEW moped. That usually made them realize they were paying less than 1/5 of the price of a new moped and they were getting something that looked great and ran just fine. But it wasn't new.

I think your emblems look great. But they'll never pass for new, will they? So the question is if you want new or if you can accept the fact that this stuff is close to 50 years old.

These pieces are actually in very good shape for originals and I like the color of the paint now it has dried. I touched up a few spots and put them on the car.
