Oil pan dimensions

You might look at Milodon 31002, it's for truck applications so rear sump, total depth it 5.5" and I believe the front section is 2.875".

I've been looking for something similar, but I'm in much the same boat, I need a rear sump oil pan with a very shallow front section and I think the only option is going to be to make one..

I also have one of the Jeep oil pans, but it would need to be modified extensively, total about 7.5", I can take other measurements if you are interested.

I had considered the jeep pan before. If I had to run a rear sump I think the steel truck pan looks slightly shallower in the back (probably just my eyes) and is cheaper as well as probably weighs less than the big cast monster that jeep pan is. However, I'm still hoping someone can get me the measurement of the milodon pan at the front, the depth around where the steering rack would be. Then I can know for sure if I just need to move on or if it's worth pursuing. I'm thinking if it's anywhere close to 2.5" or less, it's may just be doable.
