Need some help choosing on a cam for my 383.
Want to have a decent idle and be reliable. Would like to get the car into the 12s,
Engine is 383 .030 over, 906 heads , heads ported-flow sheet shows 279cfm at 525 on intake, compression with .045 head gasket came to 9.7.1.
The cams that have been suggested to me or found on cam quest are in the 236°-243° duration at .050, a few are larger. thinking about the mp 528 .
