What scale is that? O scale?

Wow. Talk about obscure.......but super cool.

NICE! It does look S scale..... Smaller versions of Lionel's couplers is a lot of times the dead give away!

NICE!!!!

The ALCO PA-1 has always been my favorite locomotive ever.

That one looks like a PA-1 but should have six wheels per truck to be a PA-1 otherwise its an FA-1 but looking at the body ....looks like a PA-1 with four wheels per truck, probably due to modeling limitations.

Either way, that would make for such a nice Christmas decoration this season :D GEN 1 Diesel RULES!!

Rani if you like the PA-1 you probably like the Krauss Maffei too.

those German designed locos are pretty cool and they were tough too ....I have seen Colorado historical photos of a Krauss going through Moffat tunnel here in Colorado ....that is basically a proving ground for rail equip where they starve for oxygen but still need a whole bunch of power to get up the grade...... its all a huge bottle of awesome.

Those Alco PA/FA still had that sleek look that just cant be beat :D:D:D

I'ma "steam" guy, give me a 2-8-8-4 ANYDAY.......

BUT my favorite Diesel has to be the SD-9 OR the GP-30. Both are GM, "EMD" BUT I also favor the GE, BQ23-7........

Me too. I prefer Shays, Climaxes, Heislers, Porters and diesel critters. Lots of room for imagination.
