Steve McQueen vs. John Wayne

I like all of them. They were all different, all had their best "parts."

I never thought Wayne was that much of an actor. Hell he played the same part whether he was escortin' wagggons, "fillin his hand" or shootin' Japs out of the sky, "Pilgrum" But I still had fun watching his movies. "The Shootist" was quite poignant, I think.

Only thing I don't like about McQueen is I keep hearing rumors he was a little hard on women. Turns out "our hero" "Dirty Harry" is a little hard on em once in awhile, too.

I was just thinking the other night of an old movie I saw a VERY long time ago

(Goes to Google and searches a minute LOL)

"Sometimes a Great Notion" 1971, the damn thing had most of anybody that was anybody in Whorywood

Newman, Fonda, Lee Remick, Michael Serrazin, Richard Jaeckel, Cliff Potts and some others. Oh yeah, LOL, and some McCullough chain saws.
