I am looking to do a teardown and overhaul of my 74 dart brake power booster.

Anybody hear know of a place that make kits to rebuild these ?

Thanks
Matt

I don't know where to get a rebuild kit, but they must be available somewhere since Booster Dewey rebuilds just about any booster. Maybe he might sell you a kit?

Hey Don,

What does booster dewey get to redo one with all new cad plating and all?

Does he do these on exchange? Reason being is i have a 67 booster for 4 wheel drum, and a 74 disc drum booster. I plan on using the 74 as my whole brake system on my 67 is either 74 A or 79 B cordoba.

Maybe he would be interested in an exchange, and 1 extra booster as another core, maybe to get the cost down on an exchange.

Try "Harmon Classic Brakes". That's where i got my rebuild kit from, for my 69 B-Cuda. Hes on ebay also.

I believe I paid about $220 or maybe somewhat less for him to rebuild my Kelsey Hayes booster which included doing the gold dichromate on the booster, the adapter, both braces and return shipping. I was going to use it on my wagon but find that if I use the Dutra Hyperpak, no way will it fit. So it'll go on my 65 Barracuda. His web site -
www.boosterdeweyexchange.com and for the extra boosters, I'd give him a call at 503.238.8882 Hope this helps.
Don

Thank you for the help. Not sure weather or not i will do a boosterdewey rebuild, or a harmons kit and rebuild it myself, however the options are there.

Thanks
Matt
