Well stumbled into an odd situation again.

I am thinking about replacing the skin on my from bench seat ('75 Duster) because it has several ripped seams so I started to look at where I could buy them... I didn't think this would be much of a problem.. The car is Golden fawn ...I am not sure how many interior combos there were but here are the guesses.

The colour is:

. Ember Gold, D2Y3 - I cannot find any record seeing that colour on my model year.
. Parchment
. metallic bronze and honey gold.

What has surprised me is that one MOPAR guy said my seat colours did not come from Chrysler..that someone replaced the seat portion insert in a different coloured vinyl.

I know the history of the car..the car was essentially a base model ...

I am sure I have seen others like this..

Could the factory or dealer done this ?

Here is a pic..the seat is dirty..

Thanks, Ian.

Cool.

So the D2Y3 is it. Funny I couldn't find that code.

I am assuming that the green bench seat is in fact, two tone. Would that other colour be bronze for me ?

The likelihood of getting this replaced seems to be between zero and no way..

How rare was this ?

Thanks
ian.

The swatches show both colors, one darker than the other.

Here is my interior....just for reference. It's a '74 model. The front was redone with Legendary and the rear is original. For what ever reason...age I guess, the inserts in the rear seat seem just a wee bit darker than the border compared to the fronts.

Yes...you rear is like mine and your front is different.

Both companies I have talked to can only provide a mono colour.

Out of curiosity, what colour did legendary call yours ?

Thanks
Ian
