After three years of work, I finally took my first real drive today. It has been painted for several months, but life got in the way, and it took a while to finalize mechanicals to be able to drive. I've had it for about 25 years. I restored it myself after I bought it, and it looked real good. But after 20 years of driving, it was starting to show its age. So I blew it apart 3 years ago and re-did it again. It is a 340 4 speed, and it is a blast to drive. I did all the work myself including paint, rebuilding the engine, auto to 4-spd conversion, 4-spd rebuild, body work, interior, suspension, AC install, etc. Today was probably the best drive I have ever had.

Dave,

Nothing like taking it all apart and hearing it start up after putting it all together again. Great job, awesome Barracuda!

Great lookin car. I cannot blame you for the 4 speed conversion. Automatics are a bore.

Looks Great !! What Color is that? Really Like it.

Very nice car.
You do excellent work, and it must be very satisfying to say you did it all yourself.
And hey, it's dark green, my favorite color!

Great job. Can't put a price on the feeling you have when driving your Barracuda.

Like the dark green. Another cool Mopar on the road. We get these on the road one at a time!
