Had the opportunity to go to the GoodGuys autumn get together this past weekend but, I've never been let down at a car show as bad as that. Anyone who has ever gone to a GoodGuys event knows how big these things are. Aside from the fact that it was a poor turnout this year, there still may have been 500 cars or so. After a couple hours of looking around... I counted FIVE notable Mopars. Four a-bodies and one 73 challenger. That was 5 out of about 500. What happened to us? Are we Mopar gurus really that rare? I must have heard 3 or 4 people ask if there was a Mopar section because they didn't see any. Even the autocross commentator was talking trash about Mopar's turnout. Pardon the small rant, I was just really disappointed with that show. I brought the dart out today just because I felt I needed to try and represent somehow.

That's why I have nine Mopars in the drive way. Every day is a Mopar only car show at my house.

9!? Your driveway sounds better than any show I've ever been to. I've heard mixed things about the GoodGuys shows but, based off of the volume of cars/people I thought it had to be pretty decent.

A long time ago, my dream car was a first gen convertible Camaro. About 8 years ago, we received 3 brothers into our foster home. The eldest, 16, was a total Mopar nut. It was then that I started to pay more attention to mopars. A few months later, I took the boys to a small local car show. Same thing. there were only about 4 mopars, and more camaros and mustangs than you can shake a stick at. It was then that I became a convert and never looked back. The funny thing is, I was sort of in a Mopar family growing up, but never really paid attention. One older brother had a duster, another a dart. A brother in law had a 72 Charger. I had an uncle with a 4 door green dart that I would be embarrassed to ride in as a kid, but now I'd love to have it. lol.
My only regret is that I didn't become a Mopar fan earlier.

wE WENT TO CHECK OUT THE SWAP MEET NOT MUCH MOPAR STUFF THE BEST PART WAS THE 63 DART WAGON FOR 600 BUCKS!

There was the "Mopars for Mutts" Mopar night car show in Phoenix awhile back and there had to be 300 or more.
I think my favorite out of the entire show was 67 Coronet with a 426 4 speed and a 69 Roadrunner parked back to back with my Dart.

I just have to say, if I had a car "that was worthy" I probably would not "show" it.

I personally only go to shows if the proceeds go to a good cause! I don't know if the Goodguys shows do this, but that's just me! I don't go to many shows, but if I do it's gotta be for a good cause!!

I went to the Goodguys Southeast National in Raleigh last fall. Never going to spend time or money going to another. I am not a fan of the 'hot rod' scene.

I don't go to shows for the show, but for the like minded people and the out of area drive in the Dart.
That last one in phoenix I tried to spare them my junk, but I wanted to park by people I knew so it ended up in the lineup.
It was free to enter anyway, so it didn't matter really.
I don't see myself ever paying to put a car in a show, as I just don't have any interest in that part of it.

I go strictly for the drive the people I know and all the drugs and alcohol.

Kidding, kidding:D
