I saw an article from about 10 years ago from Hotrod magazine where a Kurt Hollembeak had a 69 with 17" rims (17x7 in the front and 17x8 in the rear) Looks great but no info on the offset of the wheels. He was running disk brakes on front and back. Does anyone know the fitment for that size wheel and if it achievable without any kind of suspension mod with disk brakes? Doin a 69 barracuda tight now and its time to make it a roller for paint. I want my car to sit like Hollembeaks. Any help would be great! Here is a link to the article.

I too am thinking about 17 wheels over 15, 69 cuda notchback , I have the large bolt pattern with front discs and rear drum and am not sure which way to go, I think the 15 would give a better ride but the 17 would give it a better look and handling I think ? any thoughts?

First tell us what exact brake kit you're running up front and exactly what rear end, axles, and brakes you have in the back of the car. It makes a difference when choosing wheels. Measure twice, buy once.

Gonna go with disk brake setup on front and rear hopefully. I see kits with the 11" rotors reasonably priced on ebay rather than wilwood. 11" should pose no fitment problem for the wheels. my question is back spacing for front and rear. with stock track width in front and rear

I have also heard that u can go up to the 12.19 disks if you are going wildwood discs. Any thing bigger poses a larger track width problem.
