anybody buy from an online paint company whose colors actually match their sample colors?

Scroll down to the blues. I chose the costal highway blue and its brighter than their reflex blue
I notified and they asked for a pic of the paint dab and agreed that it looked way brighter than the sample and sent another can. How nice of them. Only problem it`s identical as the first color.#-o
 
And it's definitely a different color correct? The seal coat color does affect how the top coat looks.
 
I have bought Kirker online and ordered an actual color chart. Color images on the computer aren't even close., but the charts are pretty acurate. An online representation is not going to be accurate if that's what your asking.
 
A local body shop supply house should have an in-house color match guy who can do what you want from a sample you provide. That always has worked for me.

with some of the newer paint codes out now it is impossible to get a 100% paint match as some paint codes today can have a half doz or more alternates just in one paint code.
i was mixing paint for years also, trying to get a paint match for a partial or even a complete nowadays is a fricking nightmare, seems to me paint shops cant get a fricking color match even if there lives depended on it. you maybe able to find a paint shop or body shop that could tint the color for you there as you need or ask the online company to send you a bit of tinter/s to lighten or darken it to your needs.
when get color from any paint supplier here i usually must get some tinters also to get the correct shade as 90% of the time it never quite matches the color chip

Yep, I`ll probably have to buy their chart.

All the suppliers in my area don`t do auto paint anymore, We have regressed to 30 years ago.
Now it`s back to driving 30+ miles away, or online. PIA to load up a heavy decklid only to not have that special person with their special instrument to try and match a 60+ year faded color.
I thought that if you knew the color name,manufacture, a code it could be duplicated?
I think the color`s called Bimini blue,. It`s like a blue/grey, a 1953 color. I guess my original color was the arabian on this chart. I`d like to get close to original color.
