Hey guys, I'm looking for metering rods with the following numbers: 1962, 1965, or 1966. I would also be interested in strip kits containing them as well. I can do paypal. Thanks.

I may have them along with a bunch of other parts in a nice plastic container. Also have a parts 850 cfm carb for parts. Would prefer to sell the whole lot . Also have some 71 t -quad and parts. I'll check Thursday.
 
Bend AFB rods 3/4 of an inch shorter then clip the rod.

SOrry for the delay.

YES I HAVE! Works fine. Do realize the AFB rods are 2 step and the AVS rods are 3 step like the TQ rods.

If you clip them short, you'll have to grove the ends for the retaining clips. It is simple to do with a narrow file or a fine touch with a dermal and cutting wheel. You can use a spring "C" clip like on the carter carbs to hold the rod in and straight.
