Who has duplicated a Mopar A-body assembly line? I would like to do this and am curious to see what's been done. I would probably do a Duster assembly line and would include the dunk tank, spray painting etc.....would like to do maybe a dozen cars ranging from a base slant 6 car (Can you even buy a Duster model with slant 6 engine?) to 340 cars.......any thoughts?

Go ahead it would be cool! I did almost that with my Dartcharger. Tons of fun! But it's alot of head scratching too figuring out how they did it. Good luck!

That sounds like an awesome idea. There's a couple Ford Model A ones done in 1/24th I think. Look it up if you haven't seen it. Obviously it would be very different, but might be inspiring.

1/25th scale or? I myself would LOVE to see this in 1/25th scale or even 1/24th...... Be one hellofa diorama!

I'm thinking about sketching out some ideas....would be neat to have the cars in a row in various stages of assembly with a couple finished cars at the end and or maybe a transporter partially filled ready for shipping to the dealer. Would take up some room for sure.

Big scale? 1/25th or 1/24th? OR smaller? 1/43 or 1/64th? Whats your thought on scale of it? The 1/24th be the biggest, unless you went 1/16th BUT thats VERY limited on whats made in 1/16th scale!

Check out Allpar. They have a lot of factory shots. In fact I think there is a thread on here. I happened to have this on my desk to get you started. I love dioramas. Yes it is a Charger but these guys loved the Dusters when they came out except Ted on the left. He left to build Mavericks.

I am thinking 1/24 or 1/25th scales. I think there is just enough detail in this size for realism.
