Been looking at car shows at how people get their package trays around the roll cage tubes and then trim up the whole thing.

Pics, advice, wisdom? Bring it on!

i also did mine in 2 pieces. What a PITA with the down bars lol.

I don't have pics but the best advise I can give is. Down bars through speaker holes in package tray. Down bars should come as close to shock towers as possible but still rest on frame rail as per rules. Metal firewall isn't necessary unless you have a fuel cell. I used aluminum anyway and put the stock package back just in case. Scribing around bars to fit package is PITA but I made templates out of paper board first. It was fun, good luck

Any one put one in a four doo to keep the rear doors functional? No bar across the opening? Thinking about doing it.

I'm not running a rollcage in my duster but I have seen pictures on here of a members A body
he had removed the speakers and just ran the posts through the holes the speakers left

My cage is already together and through the speaker holes, but I am trying to get ideas on the package tray itself and how members got it around those tubes.

I have an old pic(sorry its a pic of a pic) of what I'm trying to find the best solution for, I know the package tray will have to be cut but wondering whats the best route and best look to trim it out, my car will be more driver/cruise night than strip car

If you put the bars thru just clearing the seat it will only require two notches cut in the forward edge of the shelf panel.

With a kick *** stereo and speakers that you cannot hear at all.

Don't know why I added the stereo. But that was the most important back in the day. Both of my 69 Corronet R/T's had am/8 tracks.

I remember in the 70's Bad company blasting "Don't you know that you are a shooting star" While being chased by the law . It lasted almost the whole song.
