Thanks for all the positive feedback. I must admit that the show was great and the level on the restorations on the cars there was top notch. I'm not sure if there is some other equal show in US?
Anyway I was blown away when I got the Concourse Gold Award for scoring 996 Points out of 1000. The deduction was;
- factory windshield gasket crack at lower bottom
- I had a leak at the Nats that we sealed properly. But the judges found two drips on the K-frame
- since the car hasn't been driven there has started to leak som transmission fluid. They found two drips.
- The spare tires was correct date coded, right style, right white wall but it wasn't NOS. It has probably 100 miles on it.
So I had no problem to accept the errors. Then they told me I was getting the Best in Show Dodge. :cheers: I was so happy.
At the same time I would like to thank all the FABO members that has helped me out with different things during the restoration. I could not have made this restoration without you.
