If realism is important, here is one of my favorites that is usually overlooked.
However, like "The Missing" the Apache belief system plays a part in the plot.
Perhaps even more so.
And Burt Lancaster is the world weary scout.
The young officer from back east gets a lesson.
Why do people behave like they do? Because of what they believe.
The American Indian doesn't seem to have been all the same in that regard.
