What kind of carb spacer

I'm looking at trying a carb spacer on my car. What is the best to use,four hole,open,tapered,and what size. My combo is a 2900lb demon with 4:11 gears and a power gluide. Motor is a 436 small block with a CNC 360-1 top end with a 1050 dominator carb. Do you think a spcer will help and what kind should I try. Thanks for your input

What are you looking to get from this spacer? Heat control , more horsepower . ...

just got off the dyno and tried a lot of spacers, we were stuck at 689hp finally tried a 1 inch super sucker and It shot up to 701hp @ 6000rpm and 689tq @ 4900 made me a believer. Should be fun in 4 speed street car.

thanks for the replies. the car has run a best of 9.50 and would like to see a 9.4- so thought I would try a spacer
