Just saw this today. 3 days left.
Hope it goes to a good home. Can't handle the expense myself.
Perhaps someone on the site here can grab it.

My favorite Super Stock cars to watch right there but isn't that a lot of money for a car they admit is not competitive and probably needs safety upgrades as well. I'm not knocking the car just wondering.

Its one of the original hurst converted cars.
The further this car is from being competitive today the closer it is to
original or as originally raced.
This car has won numerous championship's as it sets.
You would only devalue this car by updating it.

So this would be a good buy for either a collector or someone who wants to run nostalgia races.

I would call it a collector or investment car.
They have become too valuable to race.
This car has been back halfed which is normally reversed when a car like this
is restored.
This particular car would likely be left as is since it is probably most famous as it sits.
No restoration needed. Survivor so to speak.

Early pictures of the car

The black and yellow cuda is not the red and white one.Red and white car was Sox and Martin vehicle that San bought from them in 69 and I purchased from him after driving it in 69-70 for him. You can see the #784 on rear 1/4 window from when Ronnie drove it. The C. Wright car is the second cuda (yellow&black)Sam purchased after selling the S/M one to me It's me in the white shirt looking over the right fender

If that car sold for $62K+ someone got one heck of a buy....
