The difference I noted was a larger center register for the Jag fan. IIRC there was a bushing included with my fan clutch to adapt to the smaller register on our water pumps.

I had no problem bolting my old fan blades onto it.

That and also if I remember correctly the bolt heads are about 70% on the flat mount with the rest off the edge. They were slotted mount holes.
