The return of stolen cars

Sounds like you need to get the attorney general of
your state involved.

I can't believe how cool you've been about the whole thing , man I would be postal , I'd be luring guys to secluded areas , keep your stick on the ice and keep us posted .
PS let us know if you get wind of him heading to a show here in the great white north I would gladly help you repo your car . I wonder if you could get a set of plates at the same time as getting a replacement title ? The look on the guys face would be priceless if you walked up to his house with an set of plates and drove away in your car lol

A friend of mine in British Columbia had his 55 Bel Air 2 door stolen from in front of his Parents house in the late 70's. Never thought he would see it again. 14 years later a cop phoned him and told him he had found the car. Buddy went to the impound lot with the cop to look at the car. HE HAD KEPT THE KEYS FOR ALL THOSE YEARS. When they opened the TRUNK, they found 2 STOLEN HARLEY MOTORS in there. Anyways, my friend got his car back. It is now beautifully restored in TURQUOISE, and WHITE.

Dad ALWAYS left the keys in everything. Cortina got stolen half a dozen times.
Had a 67 Mustang. Dad took me over to order some dirt bike parts. We go in. No sooner to we shut the door and some clown is in it. Car was found in Newark a week later...with 7 parking tickets. Only way they would release the car was if we paid the tickets, towing and impound fees...even though my dad had the police report...

Did your dad ever figure out why people were taking his cars?

The storyline isn't all that clear but it sounds like things are working out.:happy1:

File your claim in Smalls Claim Court for the RT. Small fee to file and small fee to have the thief served. He will then have to explain how he bought the car in front of a Judge. Bring your title and hopefully original police report for the Judge to review.

Holy Moses - well I hope it works out in your favor and you actually get to "stick it to the man"!!! You know what they say - turn about is fair play!
