Yes this true, but they are using stock heads, intakes and exhaust manifolds. That take a lot of great engine building to get the right combo just right. And to launch on those skinny tires means a great suspension set up just right as well.
Now look at pure stock. Those cars as close to stock as can be. And some of the times being produce is amazing as well. That is tuning at a high level.
